What are you planning?

Rodent signs

Ask whether an inspection will cover entry points as well as activity.

Ask what needs to be moved for safe access and what should remain undisturbed.

Agree how children and pets will be protected during any treatment.

Suspected bed bugs or fleas

Ask for identification before choosing a treatment.

Request room-specific preparation and laundry instructions from the technician.

Avoid moving potentially affected belongings between rooms until advised.

A suspected wasp nest

Keep your distance and keep children and pets away.

Tell the technician where activity is visible without approaching the entrance.

Ask about safe access and any restrictions needed around the treatment area.

Assumptions and limits

Preparation depends on the confirmed pest and treatment. These questions do not replace technician instructions or product labels and give no pesticide dose or clearance time.
